I totally went for it. I had to make a change anyway so why not go for something totally new and funky! I have lost so much hair that my scalp was really showing on the top. So thin that I knew I had to go really light so it wouldn't be so evident. It worked!! It's DIFFERENT for sure but I like it..it's a new change for a new me...(untill it starts to grow back lol)
Today I finally hit 60 lbs LOST! So it was fitting that I got a new do to make this day and help hide the side effects lol.
I took these with the cam when I got home from the hairdresser. It's actually growing on me lol. Cleo said I looked younger. Chris loved it and I think its funky.
Tomorrow I got to a house warming party. Many of the ppl who will be there haven't seen me since last year! It should be fun!!! hehe
What do u think of my new do?

You look great!!!!!
I really like the new do. It does make you look younger even though you didn't look old to begin with, I had to do something with my hair not due to hair loss but due to the fact it was looking dull. So I got a perm and it cut a little on the top and sides. The hair does go with your very beautiful slim face.

Michele sent me here this early A.M. in Los Angeles....Well, I think it is adorable! I don't know your "do" from before..But this new "do" is really cute!
WOW - what a change! It looks great, Moon, but why were you losing hair?
Looking good Monette! Although you look good in any style you choose to wear. Congrats on hitting the 60lb lost! Keep in touch, James

It's lovely! Looks like I need to come to Canada for a great cut. lol I just scalped myself on Friday because my RNY is on Thursday. Congrats on the 60 pounds. You are a beautiful woman. Thanks you for blogging about your gastric bypass journey.
Michele sent me to see your new 'do. I don't know what your old 'do looked like, though!
hey, here form michele.
I think it accents your beautiful eyes, a good move, and congrats on the lost weight.
Very spunky and way spiffy! David is right, it accents your eyes.
Here via Michele's...now I'm gonna poke around your blog a bit :)
AH! It's fantabulous. I just redid my hair too, now it's a funy auburn color but it and gave it a great "guy" cut and everything, except I had to cut and color it myself so it doesn't look quite as good as yours
Michele sent me to say "Howdy neighbor!", or something like that.
Wow! What an amazing change!!!
It looks fantastic. Thanks for including the before photo for comparison too!
Michele sent me.
Oh Yes! GREAT Move! Do you feel "lighter"..? You know what I mean? It's sucj a wonderful change and I hope it gives you the feeling of lightness! Thanks for letting me know about the BEFORE Pic!
LOVE the new 'do -- it's both funky and sophisticated. You look very artistic. :)
Sorry I've been out of the loop -- my internet has been very sketchy, and I haven't been motivated to go to a cafe for a wireless connection and try to catch up on everything. Less than a month, though, and I'll be back in classes -- so I'll have lots of time to catch up during all those boring lectures! ;)
Thanks for your visit and your sweet words...And yes, we had had two other "Ladies Who Lunch"...one for Betty'G's Birthday..(We celebrated on May 24th and I think I posted about that on May 25th...or 26th. And then my Birthday Lunch...which we celebrated on June 28th, and I think I posted about that lunch around the 29th or 30th of June...So this was the third of our celebrations! Great Fun, I must say.
Visiting you for the first time. Thanks for your comment on my blog. I'm going to have to do some reading to figure out what you've got going here. I am bald but wear wigs and hair pieces. My hair was thin but I had a heart attack and the medication caused it to fall out more rapidly. Your hair is such that I envy! Great hairdo.
