Meet Tayo (pronouced -Tie-yo). He is a pure bred Shitzu..2 yrs old, healthy ,neutered and full of playful delight. Very good natured and potty trained.
Why a 3rd dog? Well.....my gf called me up to tell me a lady she is aquainted with was looking for a home for her dog...if she didn't find one she planned to have him put down. WHY? U may ask.....It would seem she just didn't want him anymore...and her bf has a dog so.....
Oh, did I forget to mention this woman has a little girl?....Yes, she didn't seem to mind giving her child's dog away....My gf called me right away..and ofcourse we have room in our hearts for another one...so she calls this lady back to tell her she found him a home..then the lady says...get this...
Oh well I was hoping to find a place close by so my daughter would be able to visit...if not ...maybe sell him...
So my gf says...hmm, well you daughter wouldn't go see it if it was dead.....and my friend has already rescued her other 2 dogs, she is more then willing to take this one off your hands but she is not paying for it!
Lady says ....Is Saturday ok?
-------------------------------------------------
Some ppl make me sick!! She dropped her dog off at my gf's place, didn't even say goodbye or kiss her dog .......just handed over the leash and walked away........why does this still surprise me?
We recieved him Sunday...there was a few tense moments between all the dogs lol...but for the most part it went well. We have renamed him Tayo (Tie-yo) and it took him less then a few hours to know his name. He has already figured out where he must sleep after the first night of crying poor thing but we were firm and last 2 nights have been fine..on his coushin next to the bed on Chris's side...he has been accepted by the dogs...as Clochette and him finally started to play together yest. Was fun to watch...we are certain that Shinoo is relieved that there is another to entertain the little one..to give her a break....the part about sharing mom and dad with him is another story though lol.
So with out further ado....introducing ...Tayo

OMG how heartless of that woman!!! Some people should just NOT be allowed to have pets. I am so glad that this darling little ball of fuzz has found a loving, caring home - where he will never have to worry about being tossed aside once the novelty has worn off. Monette, both you are Chris are awesome, loving people and I can't think of a more deserving home for this little orphan. Much Luv.
The dog is sooooo cute. Why would someone want to get rid of dog like that or any dog for that matter. My Dog is part of the family and I couldn't even consider giving her away. I don't understand people like her either. Do you think she will give her daughter away????
Hugs
Cindy
He's so cute Monette, I was waiting for you to post the pics of him.
What was his old name and how did you come up with his new one?
*hugs and kisses*
He's precious, and I love his name. I cannot believe that woman gave him away like that.
People like that make me want to leash 'em and stake 'em out in a red ant hill. At least he found a great new home.
i think it's a shame people can't be vetted before they are allowed to keep a pet. Some seem to use them as a fashion accessory and are quite heartless. I'm sure you will give reach other hours of fun. He looks as if he knows he's landed on his feet. Michele says hi!
We received a Shitzu under almost the same circumstances years ago. It was the absolute sweetest pup we ever had. I did learn that fleas are harder to get rid of on a Shitzu than other dogs and I learned that it is very difficult for them to get along well with other dogs. We had to find him another home and he wound up the perfect pet for our single elderly neighbor who doted on only him. They were blessed with long life together.
