SHAN! SHAN! SHAN!

As of 7:oo pm tonight our friend Shan should be in the air on her way to London England.(Please god make sure they are on schedule or those responsible will die a long slow painfull death by Shannon's own hand).

Boy oh boy you should of been on the other end of the telephone to her today...I think my ears are still bleeding!

First call..this morning .....Shan "OMG I AM A NERVOUS WRECK!"
Me "I know what u mean, I get that way before travelling, but u will be just fine. ......
We went on to talk about all sorts of things, I had her laughing and forgetting some of her stress especially when I asked her who was driving her to the airport. Apparently her mom was.....SKREACHHHH!!! I said ...OMG why?? Shan you want to get there in one piece don't you? sheesh...last time her mom drove her somewhere they got into an accident...so I suggested she drive there and let mom drive herself home lol.
Later we chatted online, her still no having finished packing.....so I told her to stop talking and chatting and get all that done.....THEN and only THEN can she sit back down and get on with her stressfull ranting........(she knows I lubs her)

Couple hours later..............phone rings....... pick up........OMG MONETTE I AM FREAKING!! OUT!! Remember that garmet bag I was so proud of that I got for a great price??? OMG it won't even close..I can't even fold it up ...FUCK ME RUNNING!! I WILL HAVE TO USE THE BIG ASS SUITCASE NOW DAMNIT!!!..................(u get the drift of her mind set I take it?)

ME............ok Shan..BREATH... now what all do u have in that thing that it won't close?....
SHAN........just 5 outfits
ME............just 5 outfits shouldn't keep a garment bag from closing
SHAN........well u know, its jeans, tops and sweaters
ME.............sweaters? why sweaters?
SHAN........well its winter, it's cold there and windy
ME.............OH FOR CHRIST SAKES SHAN.....your going to europe, not the feking antartica ya goober!! you are thinking in terms of our winters....(god knows she has been to visite me in canada enough times)
jasus Shan, they have a way milder winter then we do...windy maybe but damn gf get a grip lol....are u bringing a coat....
SHAN........NO I was going to wear the sweaters buck naked!..OFCOURSE I AM BRING A COAT!!
ME............ok, so lose the damn sweaters for god sakes.....Shan they may think its cold there but thats all they know lol......france is just across the channel and Chris' grandmother starts having her breakfasts outside in Febuary lol

ME..............hold on, Chris is checking he weather there now to prove it to u..........its feking 49F for god sakes...LOSE the sweaters...same weather showing for 5 day forecast.
SHAN..........crap...ok, ok, and bite me both of you.......
ME............Shan, when one goes to england...umbrella good, packing like your going to the antartica bad.......

RING RING......SHAN.... ok all done, and even have room to spare for stuff I buy there whooo hooo!!!!

So all was finally well, and Shan was ready ......she was leaving for the airport around 3:30 pm....her flight left tonight at 7:00 pm....arriving in England at 5:00 am our time but will be 11:oo am their time.
She will be meeting up with some of our dear friends that have chatted with many of us over years and I hope she has a great time. She will be home tuesday next week. This is her last hurra before she starts nursing school next week. I am so proud of her for making a bunch of life changes to finally persue a long term dream of hers of becoming a nurse.
